Milk bottle-feeding hints and tips
It's not just
your baby who learns and grows day by day, but even you as a parent, learn and
grow with each passing day. You learn every little task from bathing, feeding,
cleaning, and getting your child to sleep. Feeding your baby for the first
time? Don't worry; relax! However, quite a hype surrounds this topic, but trust
me; it's not that technical.
Just Relax!
Don't consider
feeding your little one as a task or responsibility. Instead, look upon this as
your moment of relaxation, time for bonding. So, keep your phone and remote
aside, dedicate these few moments to your motherhood.
Temperature Check:
Just like you
love your coffee at the right temperature, your kid also wants his meal at the
right temperature. Please take a few drops of milk on your wrist and check the
temperature before feeding it to the little one.
Hold him right:
You must have
heard people recommending 45° as the perfect angle to hold the child while
feeding. However, it's not that technical! Rest the baby in your arms, close to
your breast, in such a way that he is in half seated position.
Not a Bottle baby:
Kids can be
stubborn while switching from breastfeeding to milk bottles. Replacing the
comfort of breast milk to the bottles can be hard for the little one. Sometimes
the child may even deny this switch. However, it would be best if you kept
trying. The longer your child had been on breaths feed, the longer he may take
to switch. However, with constant efforts and perseverance, the child is likely
to adapt to the bottle of milk.
